Hello Earth Long Time No See

I walked miles in a heat wave to prevent my mother from being homeless.

We were being evicted for refusal to sign a renewal lease to a rent-controlled apartment

The landlord’s reps promised we wouldn’t see the inside of a courtroom if we moved into a smaller apartment on a higher floor. I saw the apartment. It had a view of garbage cans.

I saw a big bag of toys and a baby crib.

The tenants that lived there didn’t have money to put belongings in storage.

I stared at the baby crib and decided to fight the landlord.

What we refused was leases to different apartments.

Much to my surprise, my disabled mother said to go to Housing Court.

She went back to knitting and praying as I walked and walked.

I met a New York Post reporter.

He said he was investigating UFO sightings around the building we live in.

I didn’t believe him until he showed me pictures on his smart phone.

There are aliens in America and around the daily planet.

One of them is called poverty.

Injustice is the worse of times.

Writing this is the best of times

Revenge is living well

I walked up to two cops in their patrol car. One cop lowered the window and asked what’s wrong. There was an explosion of blood on the pavement. E.T.A of ambulance in 9 minutes, shouted one cop. I coughed up blood so violently into a respirator that paramedics and doctor jumped back in the time of The Ebola Scare in New York City and the rest of the world.  I saw bright lights like the UFO on a reporter’s cell. I recall a bright light trying to pull me out of my bed when I was a kid.

I passed out on the hospital bed. The next stop is the so-called City of Angels where some actor is going to get an Oscar for playing my misery. Life isn’t real until it’s a movie.
